Natural DayTime Look: Winged Eyes and Milky Lips

Due to my love of all things kpop...Of course, I also fell in love with their beauty trends...So here is my take on the trendy make-up reminiscent of kpop stars..

First of all, kpop artists are known for their flawless faces, so before anything else, prep the face....

I washed my face with Nuderm facial wash and applied Etude moistful collagen toner....:)

Here is my bare face....<gross...hahaha>

I then applied Etude Moistfull Collagen emulsion and eye cream, then I also applied Etude CC cream

Here's how my face looks after...:)

I then worked on  my eyes....first, I applied eyeshadow using my ring finger...I used Nichido Stardust Eyeshadow....Since it is during the day, I prefer not to use too much eyeshadow or non at all...:)
I used only the silver color in the middle

my eyes with eyeshadow...
Next, I applied gel eyeliner to my eyes using  Revlon Colorstay in black noir....to create the winged eye takes a lot of practice, but an easy way to do it is to dot the eyeliner to eyelids then connect it, afterwhich, extend it to outer lids and with a upward flick you create the wing...:)

I also added eyeliner to my lower lids...:)
I then added glittery tearliner to my inner  lids using Shawill Pretty Color Eyeliner in white gold...

Then, I swiped mascara to my lashes for that full eye look.....I used Revlon Photoready 3D volume mascara

Now its time for the lips...First, I put on a lip concealer to even the color of my lips using ELF Lip primer and plumper....

For the lipcolor, I used Revlon Matte lipstick in Soft Suede and topped it with Etude Crystal Shine Lipstick in PPK001....it is a combination that made my lips a soft natural nude brown color....:)

To create the milky lips effect , I added crystal lipgloss from brand IN2IT....

The finished effect..:)
Finally, after all that...here is the finished look....:)...

If you are not fond of nude colored lips, you can make it  any color you want as long as it suits you...:)

THE END...kehehe...:)

Fast and Furious 6: My girl thoughts...:)

What is it with boys and fast cars?...
Well, its like asking what is it with girls and make-up and shopping...

Maybe I am on the weird side because I love a movie whose popularity is more inclined towards the male gender...

Ive been a fan of the Fast and Furious franchise since movie 1.....and I have loved Dom and Brian since then....

And of course, being the fan that I am...I never missed the premiere of the 6th installment in the local cinema..Me and my cousin came to the mall before it even opened and luckily got ourselves a nice spot inside the theater...

Fast 6 poster....why is my Han so far...cannot even see his handsome features....haha
the very same poster....:)

I loved the 6th installment. Now its not only cars....there are airplanes and military tanks...haha....but still nothing beats a fast, gorgeous car....:)

And of course, the newest addition to the family, the cute baby....haha...:)

But I was slighltly disheartened when Gisele died and Han was heartbroken.....:(

My favorite couple!!!...wae!!....haha....But it was just me...I knew Gisele had to die because it all happened before Tokyo Drift...but still...cant get over it yet....maybe a few more days....hahaha

Hansele loveline...hahaha....love them both....my F&F OTP...:)
Overall, I love the movie...there were boring parts...But the action packed scenes with the tank and airplane compensated to those....:)

My last wish,...I want Gal and Sung Kang in another movie.....please?.....:)

Etude house CC cream: Review

Yey!!! My first product review of my favorite beauty brand Etude House!!...*clap Clap*

Ive been hooked on Etude House products since last year and the first product Ive tried is the BB cream bright fit...and since then, Ive been an Etude addict...:)...

But a new product is making waves nowadays...The cc cream!!....It is slowly replacing the BB's in popularity because of its claimed benefits.....

CC cream is  a  refined bb and can act as a primer, moisturizer, foundation....while BB creams are used for coverage, CC creams are for color control as the name stands for....:)

and since I'm the ever curious gal, I decided to try the CC cream offered by Etude...Ive never tried other brands except Etude and Missha for my facial needs (Except for my Nuderm sunblock, derma recommended) because these two brands never broke my skin once....:)
Im happy with these two brands so I'm staying loyal...:)

Okay...on to the CC cream review....:)

Etude House has released two types of these cc creams in the market...The silky and glow variants....The silky one has quite the matte finish and the glow gives you that shiny effect....I have normal to oily skin so I didnt think it would harm to try the glow cc cream....
the etude cc cream in glow, Ive thrown the packaging away so I cannot show you how it looks like..
I bought my cc cream from an online store... (thank you KimchiJib!!!)...I like the packaging and all but I will not focus on that...let's get to know the cream itself...:)
This is how the cc cream looks like....kinda creamy and there were actually little beads of different  colors infused ....It also has a slight flowery scent to it....(sorry for the bad photo)

Here's how my bare (shameless) face looks like......dull-looking and uneven in color...

and here is my face after putting on the CC cream....The color of my face stayed pretty much the same but my face looked brighter, even and healthy and the CC cream gave a subtle glow to it...:)

The cc cream worked well for me..yay!!!...Etude never failed me...and amazed me once again...It has a shiny finish but only subtle...nothing too shiny that makes your face look like a disco ball...:)
close up of my face with the cc cream away from the light...:)
Here's how my face looks like after an hour.....still looks nice...right?....kehehe (Sorry for being shameless...:D...)

OVERALL RATING:
I love this cc cream.....I dont know about the other brands but Etude House really delivers....so I'm sticking to it...:)...For those with oily skin, I suggest you try the silky version of the Etude CC cream because the glow version might worsen your woes...:)
But if you have normal and dry skin,....I suggest you try the glow one....for the subtle radiance and healthy glow it will offer...:)

The Simara Island New Attraction: Footbridge

My first official post and what better way to start it with a blog about the latest attraction in my home island of Simara, Romblon. Just a little background about the island, it is one of the many islands in Romblon, and it is well known to most as Corcuera, as it is the name of the municipality, but to locals, it is Simara island...
View of the beach in brgy. Poblacion in Simara

It has been two years since I last visited my hometown and during my three day stay in the island last April, I enjoyed everything from local food, the beaches and of course the newest attraction, the footbridge. It is a structure built through the efforts of the Sangguniang bayan members of the municipality and  is long enough for it to cover two barangays in our island. Before going home, i didnt know there was such a thing so I was quite surprised to learn about it from my cousin. We hired a motorcycle (the only means of land transportation) and off we went to see it.

I was pretty amazed when I saw the footbridge...how ingenius!!..I feel in love with it the moment i saw it...
the entry point of the footbridge in brgy. Mabini...

The whole footbridge was made of bamboo and I was pretty scared to actually walk in it...hehe...But  i faced my fear and actually made it to the part where there are lots of mangroves..Dont be fooled the photo, the water is actually quite deep...and I dont really know, maybe because of the hot sun, but I felt sea sick while traversing in the footbridge...So we didnt actually finished it and reach the other barangay...:(

tall mangroves shade visitors from the scorching heat of the summer...:)

Jen and Xiaxi after the footbridge experience...kehehe
But my other cousin Sarah, took another trip to the footbridge with her friends and they actually finished it and even swam in the beach in brgy. san roque where the other end of the footbridge is situated...:)

My cousin soaking up lots of vit.D? in the beach near the footbridge...:)

I wish I had not felt sea sick when I went there so that I could actually finish it....but I actually enjoyed it and next time i visit my hometown, I want to come visit the footbridge again....:)
